Educational Focus
Our focus is on the whole child and the development of spiritual, cognitive, physical, emotional, language and social abilities. We want children to learn using our hands-on, developmentally appropriate curriculum, which has been designed specifically for each age level. We strive to maintain a balance of teacher-directed activities with the need for children to use all of the five senses to experiment on their own with problem solving, decision-making and free choice to understand the world.
We recognize the need for childrenÂ’s individuality to be respected and their extraordinary God-given talents and gifts to be identified and nourished. That is what we do best here at Calvary. The exposure children receive to art, computers, physical education, people and cultures, music and movement, science, and Bible stories, provides a wealth of experiences for the children on which to build a solid educational foundation.
